Heldenbaritone singer
Ronnie Karlsson graduated from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, as a Master of Arts. He has worked with among others: Jaakko Ryhänen, Miina-Liisa Värelä, Petri Lindroos, Hannu Ilmolahti, Dale Fundling, Annika Ollinkari, Karita Mattila, Tom Krause, Monica Groop, Jorma Silvasti, Uwe Griehm, Collin Hansen, Heikki Pellinen, Ilmo Ranta.
Karlsson is a Heldenbaritone with over 20 performed opera roles on his resumé, as well as a fair number of musical roles as well.
He regularly performs in concert together with pianist Janne Oksanen and with other colleagues, such as tenor Kalle Virtanen and composer and pianist Stefanie Tuurna.
Karlsson also sings pop, rock and jazz. He is vocally versatile and loves using his voice in different ways and in different styles. He is the singer of the band Soul of Light.

As a coach, Karlsson is empathic, demanding yet understanding, encouraging and supportive. He does not dabble, nor does he even speak about things he does not know.
